Elegant Kitchen by Jennifer Chapman and LU Design Build

I recently shot a new kitchen project with LU Design Build and interior designer Jennifer Chapman.

 It was fun to work with Jennifer to capture the space, highlighting the extra long island which I imagine is the homeowner's focal point for entertaining.  The wood wrapped beams appealed to me and seemed like the perfect finishing touch.  Here's the set of images from the project.

Being busy has kept me from my blog updates, so I decided to recap a few of my most recent favorites.   Study the details and you'll  see how strategically placed touches such as plant life or soft throws can take an image to the next style level.

A soft throw and beside plant help to create a dreamy feel.

Negative space is a good thing.

Flowers add a lived in  yet classy feel.
